Distribution Details

In accordance with the Plan, three distribution methods were implemented to distribute Fund monies.


1. Distribution Directly to Shareholders (Contemporaneous Accountholders): Shareholders who owned shares in one or more of the Eligible Mutual Funds ("EMFs") identified in the chart below during the Relevant Period between 1999 and 2003 received a distribution payment directly from the Fund. To be eligible to receive a payment, an EMF shareholder must have had a calculated distribution payment amount of at least $10 (the minimum or de minimis payment amount). EMF shareholders who met these requirements received distribution payments between May and August, 2009.

The chart below contains a list of fund families and EMFs included in Contemporaneous Accountholder distributions. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility or the EMFs listed below, please contact the toll-free number indicated on the chart. Payments were mailed to Eligible Contemporaneous Accountholders between May and August 2009.

2. Distribution to Contemporaneous Accountholders Through an Existing Fund Family IDC: In accordance with the terms of the SEC-approved Bear Stearns Distribution Plan, certain monies from the Bear Stearns Distribution Fund were transferred to other Fair Funds for distribution through their Fair Fund Independent Distribution Consultant ("Fund Family IDC"). Where practicable and feasible, these monies were transferred after the Bear Stearns IDC determined that the overlap between affected mutual funds, relevant time periods, and dilution estimates among the mutual funds covered by the other Fair Funds and the Bear Stearns Distribution Fund was sufficient. Thus, Bear Stearns Distribution Fund monies allocated to EMFs of such fund families were distributed through their respective Fund Family IDC.

The chart below contains the EMFs of fund families that received a distribution through a Fund Family IDC. Payments to beneficiaries of the AIM Fair Fund distribution commenced in June 2009. The Fair Fund distribution for Invesco commenced in December 2009. Payments were mailed to beneficiaries of the DWS Fair Fund between July 2009 and January 2010.

3. Distribution to the Asset Bases of Eligible Mutual Funds: In cases where a Contemporaneous Accountholder distribution was determined to be not practicable or feasible, distribution payments were made directly to the asset bases of those EMFs in May 2009. Thus, except for the EMFs listed in the previous two charts, Fund distributions were made directly to the asset bases of EMFs.
